The 14-day window
Every payment you make for Beakon, whether a first purchase or an upgrade, can be refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of the payment date. You don’t need to give a reason.
This matches, and does not replace, the 14-day right of withdrawal that consumers in the European Union have for online purchases.
How to ask
- Open a ticket on the contact page, choosing “Billing, invoices or refunds”.
- Send it from the email address you used at checkout, or mention that address in the message, so we can find the payment.
- We confirm the refund by email, usually within one business day.
When the money arrives
Refunds go back to the card or payment method you paid with, through Stripe. Stripe sends the refund immediately; your bank may take 5–10 business days to show it on your statement.
What happens to your workspace
- A refunded purchase closes the license. Monitoring stops and members can no longer sign in. Export anything you want to keep before asking; we can also send you an export on request.
- A refunded upgrade returns the workspace to the package it had before. Nothing is deleted. If you are over the smaller package’s monitor limit, the most recently created monitors are paused until you are within it.
Data from a closed workspace is deleted 30 days after the license closes.
After the window
After 14 days we don’t offer refunds, except where the law requires it, for example if Beakon doesn’t work as described and we can’t fix it.
Chargebacks
Please talk to us before opening a dispute with your bank. It is quicker for you, and a refund within the window is guaranteed. If a dispute is decided in your favour, the license for that payment is closed in the same way as a refund.
